This is a Gateway course (Beginners class).
This Gateway course is designed specifically for new shooters as well as entry-level shooters —those who have never touched a gun before. ”Intro to the gun world” class, if you will.
This is a 4 hour class and includes Dry and Live fire exercises.

– Gun Safety (Emphasis on the 4 Universal Rules of Gun Safety)

– Picking Up & Clearing a Handgun (Techniques & Handling)

– Establishing a proper Master Grip

– Acquiring Proper Sight Picture & Alignment

– Dry Fire (Systems, Techniques, Hands-on Practice)

– Live Fire (we’ll finish up at the range to get students comfortable/familiar with live fire)
There are NO prerequisites for this course. (Having previously fired a gun at least once is a plus but not a must).

– A reliable handgun/pistol or Revolver (if you don’t own one yet, we can loan you one)

– 100 rounds of ammunition

– Proper attire, outerwear, and footwear (appropriate for outdoor shooting)

At the completion of this BASIC INTRODUCTORY course students will be equipped with a BASIC understanding of gun safety and how to own & handle one safely and responsibly. The main objective of this course is to introduce students (current & potential gun owners) to the world of firearms and their safe use & handling. We strongly believe that every student will walk away with a much better understanding of, and be or become more comfortable with firearms.
We highly recommend you continue to improve & build upon your knowledge and skill-set to become a better, safer, and more responsible gun owner. We offer other courses/classes (intermediate level) which you can enroll in and we can and will refer you to other great instructors (who we train with) for when you’re ready for more advanced training.
